CarSpareFinder is a spare vehicle part location service that puts you in control. Unlike many other similar services CarSpareFinder acts as a medium between you and the part suppliers. The part suppliers make quotes for the parts you require and we send them to you, this allows you to choose which suppliers you wish to deal with. You may also cancel your part requests at any time.
You may receive quotes via email or SMS. Although you can elect to recieve Quotes via email it is far more convenient to receive them via SMS. If you opt for SMS, then for each Request you create you will be charged for the first 3 Quotes - the following 6 will be sent to you for FREE!
No, absolutely not. When you receive quotes its completely upto you to contact any supplier you wish to make a purchase, or not.
Each SMS message costs £1.50, but as you will only pay for the first 3 messages you will only be charged a maximum of £4.50 per request. If you opt to receive quotes via email, there is no charge.
No. If you enter a home telephone number we do pass that information to our suppliers so they may contact you should they quote on your part request but no other company will receive your mobile phone number of email address. We may send you upto 2 SMS messages / emails a year to inform you of updates to our system.
To stop receiving Quotes via SMS simply reply back to any CarSpareFinder message with 'STOP'. Alternatively login and change your contact method to via email.
To make a Part Request simply fill in this form, if you have already registered with CarSpareFinder then simply login to make a new request. When making a Part Request select the part and vehicle you need the part for, then enter the address you wish to have it delivered to and sit back and wait for the quotes to be sent to you!
As many as you like. When you make a request you can choose up to 5 different parts, each part selected will generate a seperate part request.
A Part Request will remain active until any of the following conditions are met:
There are over 100 of the UK's top Car, Van, 4x4 & Motorcycle part suppliers and recyclers registered on the CarSpareFinder system.
During office hours, within about 10 minutes.
Certainly, if you would prefer to make a part request by phone, simply call our Customer Services line on 01642 353355 (Calls cost £1.00 per minute from a BT landline but calls from other networks may vary.) during standard office hours.
It's not possible to give a specific amount that you will save but you should expect to save between 50% and 80% off the cost of new spares.
Again it's not possible to give a definite answer but our records indicate that around 85% to 90% of our customers find the parts they require. If you don't receive any quotes after a few days simply relist your request, our suppliers are constantly receiving new stock so your part will more than likely become available.
Simply relist your request in the system to receive another batch of 9 quotes.
